Trisha Tubo starred when it mattered most, lifting the Farm Fresh Foxies to keep their title hopes alive with a 25-23, 18-25, 25-19, 25-23 victory over the PLDT High Speed Hitters in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference round-robin semifinals on April 14 at Mall of Asia Arena.
The Foxies' opposite hitter tallied 28 big points to lead her team to a 1-1 semis record and keep them on track for their first finals appearance.
Royse Tubino and Ces Molina also scored in double digits for Farm Fresh, finishing with 15 and 14 points, respectively.
The game appeared headed for a deciding set after PLDT built a comfortable 22–18 lead in the fourth frame, putting themselves in a strong position to extend the match.
But Tubo and the Foxies responded with a decisive 6–0 run, turning the tables and reaching match point, 24–22.
The High Speed Hitters managed to save one point behind Alleiah Malaluan's effort, but Tubo answered with a game-winning kill to seal the deal.
Kim Kianna Dy topped all PLDT scorers with 20 points, while Savi Davidson contributed 18 and Malaluan added 17.
