After a golden run in the lower bracket, Team Liquid PH were edged out in their Semifinals Match against Indonesia’s Own Alter Ego, 2-3, ending the Cavalry’s Golden Journey at the M7 World Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia, yesterday.

While Liquid tries to correct the mistake by attacking offensively, this mistake enables Dalvin 'Hijumee' Putra to deal with the major damage dealers of TLPH, removing key players and putting them in a vulnerable position.
Team Liquid fought with resilience and urgency, answering Alter Ego’s opening win by taking games 2 and 3 to put themselves one win away from victory.
However, a crucial mistake was made on the side of TL, which left them vulnerable and allowed AE to win the game 5.
During the 10-minute Lord fight, TL showed its offensive power as Alston ‘Sanji’ Pabico and Karl Gabriel ‘KarlTzy’ Nepomuceno slayed Syauki ‘Nino’ Sumarno and Dalvin ‘Hijumee’ Putra of AE.
However, AE did not let this slide as they also killed two members, leaving TL defenceless, allowing AE to claim the objective.
An intense team fight was initiated at the 19:22 minute mark as TLPH Jaypee ‘Jaypee’ Gonzales tries to eliminate AE’s Gold Laner, but it completely backfired against them as “Hijumee” of AE gets the double kill and later on completely wipes out the team to secure the win.
“Hindi kami nahirapan sa uranus jungle, tingin ko talaga yung nagpahirap saamin is yung Claude kasi naka Esme lang si Kiel (Oheb), nung nag marksman dapat tinapatan na din namin ng marksman,” Nepomuceno stated.
“Nag focus lang kami sa early, kasi palagi nila kaming ineearlyan,” he added.
This farewell by Team Liquid brings an ache to the heart of the Filipino Fans as they were the favorite to face Aurora PH in the finals.
As TL leaves the M7 spotlight, fands focused their eyes on Aurora, hoping to claim the 7th M Series Championship for the Philippines.
