Aurora Gaming Türkiye swept defending champions Team Liquid PH, 2-0, during the Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2026 Group Stage in Paris, France on July 23, sending the Filipino squad to the Group B lower bracket.
Aurora took control of the series from the opening game, securing a convincing victory to move within one win of advancing further in the Group B upper bracket.
Team Liquid PH, the reigning MSC champion, was unable to recover after falling behind early in the series.
The Turkish team carried its momentum into Game 2, maintaining the advantage throughout the match before completing the 2-0 sweep.
The result marked one of the biggest upsets of Day 2 of the Group Stage, as Team Liquid PH entered the tournament as defending champions.
Through that victory, Aurora Gaming advanced in the Group B upper bracket, while Team Liquid PH dropped to the lower bracket, where another loss would eliminate the team from the Group Stage.
