NEWS | Pasay police confirms robbery-rape suspect surrenders after partner’s intervention
Police revealed that one of the suspects in the Pasay City massage parlor robbery-rape case surrendered on the advice of his live-in partner, as reported on Monday, September 1.

Pasay City Police Chief Col. Joselito De Sesto presented to Pasay City’s Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano the apprehended suspect, Jared, who went to Legazpi City in Albay for a billiard tournament.

Rubiano lauded De Sesto’s team for successfully tracking down the suspect after a four-day intense manhunt operation.

De Sesto revealed that police are still conducting a manhunt operation for the arrest of the remaining suspect, Ashley, who was reportedly last seen in Tagaytay City.

According to De Sesto, Jared served as a lookout while Ashley sexually abused two of the 13 massage therapists.

Rubiano said the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) will conduct counseling for the 13 massage therapists.
She also assured the victims of full support, including legal assistance.

To ensure public safety, Rubiano assured that the police will maintain its 24/7 visibility in coordination with barangay officials and watchmen to uphold peace and order in the city.

She said charges of two counts of rape and 11 counts of robbery will be filed against the suspect at the Pasay Prosecutors' Office, and the city government will continue to support the local police in their efforts to maintain peace and order in the city.
