Bianca Pagdanganan kept her campaign alive as she sparked a comeback round and nailed a crucial five-under-par 66 to secure a spot in the weekend rounds of the IOA Golf Classic in Longwood, Florida.
Pagdanganan jumpstarted her surge in Saturday's clash after slotting three birdies beginning at the third hole.
She unfortunately committed a mistake on the par-5 10th, yet the Pinay regained her momentum as she sank another birdie on the next hole.
The Filipina ace maintained her uprising with an eagle on the par-5 13th followed with a birdie which gave the former’s round a major boost.
However, she absorbed another setback on the par-5 16th, yet her solid 32-34 performance allowed her to make a huge jump on the leaderboard.
Pagdanganan climbed to a deadlock for 13th place with a 139 score, just behind the tourney leaders by four strokes despite initially tying for 60th and close to missing the cut.
Meanwhile, Filipina Golfer Dottie Ardina slipped down the standings, recording a second-round 74 that dropped her to a tie for 21st place with a total of 141.
Ardina let loose consecutive birdies on the 10th and 13th hole, but successive late bogeys prevented the Pinay from improving her position.
On the other hand, Clariss Guce ignited an even-par 71 to make the cut at 38th with a total of 143 — enough to tie with Tomi Arejola, who finished the round with 72.
But Pauline del Rosario was unable to recover from an opening 73 and missed the cut after posting another two-over round for a total score of 146.
