Baguio City tried to reclaim its Batang Pinoy throne but was unsuccessful after notching a 91-72-74 gold-silver-bronze medal statline, just four gold medals short of reaching the summit.
Swapping their podium finishes from last year, Quezon City and Davao City settled for third and fourth place, respectively.
The City of Manila also delivered a commanding performance to complete the top five, capping off their redemption arc after managing only a lone gold in the previous edition.
