“Section 11 of Republic Act No. 11321 or the "Sagip Saka Act" mandates the national and local government agencies to directly purchase agricultural and fishery products from accredited farmers and fisherfolk cooperatives and enterprises, provided that said agricultural and fishery products are necessary in the performance of their respective mandates,” saad sa EO.

Dagdag pa nito, inaasahang lahat ng national government agencies (NGAs), kabilang ang government-owned or -controlled corporations (GOCCs), state universities and colleges (SUCs), at local government units (LGUs) ay susunod sa nasabing direktiba na iayon ang mga programa at proyekto nila sa mga layunin ng Sagip Saka Act.

Samantala, naatasan naman ang Department of Agriculture (DA) sa pagpapatupad ng Farmers and Fisherfolk Enterprise Development (FFED) na pangungunahan ng FFED Council.

“The DA is hereby directed to establish Sagip Saka Desks in its regional and field offices to serve as hubs for information, assistance and coordination,” dagdag pa ng EO.
